State and federal officials, interfaith representatives and Jewish community leaders spoke at the rally. Representatives from the Israeli Embassy and the Biden administration were also invited to attend.

Overnight Friday, security barriers went up at the U.S. Capitol.

The U.S. Capitol Police added that there will be enhanced security.
