About Us

4AIR is the first and only sustainability solutions program dedicated to aviation. Its industry-first framework seeks to address climate impacts of all types and provides a simplified and verifiable path for the aviation industry to achieve meaningful aircraft emissions counteraction and reduction.

4AIRs comprehensive turnkey solutions for aviation are easily incorporated into operations of varying sizes and missions. This approach makes reporting on metrics as part of ESG (environmental, social, governance) initiatives simplified and aligns with industry standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

All carbon credits through 4AIR are quantified and verified through the most respected and international leading bodies that issue and register credits, including the American Carbon Registry, Climate Action Reserve, Verified Carbon Standard (VERRA) and The Gold Standard. Additionally, end-of-year commitment audits are independently verified by third parties.

Meet the Leadership

Kennedy Ricci, President

Kennedy, a passionate pilot himself, is from a family dedicated to aviation. He has combined his family history in aviation, a personal facility for technology, and a commitment to giving back to founding 4AIR, focused on facilitating the decarbonization of the aviation industry.

His background in private aviation prepared him to create 4AIR, in order to convey his expertise and guidance to those creating meaningful sustainability initiatives focused on aviation. Kennedy has worked to promote a more comprehensive and long-term approach to thinking about sustainability for private aviation while providing increased transparency, comparability, and ease of starting sustainability programs for industry participants.

Nancy Bsales, Chief Operating Officer

Nancy has more than 15 years of experience as a strategist in voluntary markets for sustainability, implementing then-new but now commonplace concepts such as offsets and carbon accounting. Nancy specializes in areas such as business aviation, building corporate portfolios and launching consumer carbon emissions offset programs.

During her time as a senior manager at carbon offset provider TerraPass and as a consultant to such organizations as the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, The Good Traveler and the Rocky Mountain Institute, Nancy built one of the nation’s first offset providers and developed innovative, first-of-their-kind programs in corporate aviation, shipping and commercial travel.

Nancy also serves on the advisory board of Climate Neutral and Pips Rewards. Her passion for aviation and its sustainable future brings a unique understanding for a robust roadmap for climate success for the private aviation community.
