Starry False Solomon's Seal is an outstanding multi-season plant. The flowers are creamy white plumes and star shapped.  The plumes of flowers are not as large as False Solomon's Seal. The leaves are arranged in a zigzagging pattern on arching stems. The stems hold up well through the summer. Starry False Solomon's Seal spreads by creeping, rhizomes and spreads faster that False Solomon's Seal.


Starry False Solomon's Seal berries begin forming in June, they start off green in color with a maroon stripe. Then as the berries ripen they become ruby red in late summer.  The berries are very attractive. Birds and other wildlife will eat the berries when they are ripe.

Starry False solomon's seal grows from an underground root stock that forms nice clumps. They prefer moist soil in shade to part sun. The plant grows one to two feet tall. 

Starry False Solomon's Seal makes a great gound cover. They are good companion with woodland phlox, wild ginger and foam flower.
