Gutes Radio mit allem nötigen, ohne Schnickschnack. Hab mir das Radio für meinen Landcruiser geholt. Mir war vor allem Einfachheit und Robustheit wichtig, deshalb verzichte ich gerne auf ein CD-Laufwerk und unnötige Spielereien. Radioempfang ist Super! Kleine Einbautiefe!

Ich hatte mir dieses Radio rausgesucht weil es so eine schön schlichte Optik hat und gut in meinen 83er Polo passt.
Ich habs bestellt und es war superschnell da. Also der Verkäufer ist echt top. Verarbeitung von dem Gerät ist auch ok. Nix klappert, Tasten reagieren gut.
Aber was hat VDO sich dabei gedacht so ein Ding herzustellen??? (VDO, der Tophersteller für Fahrzeugelektrik/elektronik, Instrumente, Sensoren usw) Ja ok, bei Radios haben die vermutlich nicht so viel Erfahrung.

Was ist gut an dem Ding?
-sieht schön schlicht aus
-hat nur eine geringe Einbautiefe (bei vielen DIN Schächten passen die "normalen" DIN Radios mit CD nicht komplett)
-es hat grundsätzlich alle wichtigen Funktionen

Was ist schlecht an dem Ding?
-es braucht ewig um einen USB Stick einzulesen
-jedes Mal wenn man den USB Stick gezogen hat, wird er komplett neu gestartet. Also auch Zufallswiedergabe
-es gibt keine gezielte Titelsuche
-der Radioempfang ist eine Katastrophe! Also Sender werden schon gut gefunden, aber in regelmäßigen Abständen, so ca 15sek, hakt die Radiowiedergabe kurz.
-Es hat keinen Chinchausgang für Verstärker. Ok wenn man ohnehin nur 2 Lautsprecher und vielleicht einen Sub betreibt ist das nicht so schlimm, aber eigentlich sollte das bei dem Preis mit dabei sein.
-die Tasten sind nicht beleuchtet!!!! Also gar nicht. Das Display brennt einem fast ein Loch in die Netzhaut, aber die Tasten sind Zappeduster.

FAZIT:
Das Radio ist nicht wirklich schlecht. Es tut ja was es soll. Aber für das was es tut, ist es definitiv zu teuer! Wenn es ein 25€ Radio von irgeneinem Noname Hersteller wäre, ich würd ja nichts sagen. Aber da steht VDO drauf! Und es kostet 85€ oder so!
Ich werde es zurückschicken.

Für meinen Traktor genau das Richtige. Große Tasten und davon nicht zu viele. Kein Schnickschnack. Prima, würde ich wieder kaufen.
