I purchased this based upon the rave reviews and the picture quality they showed. Either they have little experience in projectors or I got a faulty one. 🤔 Let's get into it.Image quality is just ok. Good sometimes depending on the scene. Outdoor footage comes in well. It's sharp but in a pixelated way. It is not fine. Words are blocky. It makes for a clear image but not in any HD way. Don't forget this is a 480p projector. The colors are a little opaque especially people's faces. It either leans red most of the time or green even in the cool temperature setting. The contrast tends to blowout brights the darks are dark. There is zero picture adjustment. You cannot adjust color hue saturation sharpness nothing but the color temperature, standard cool or warm. You can adjust brightness and it has a good level of brightness to watch during the day as long as curtains are not wide open or direct light is on. You don't have to sit in complete darkness.Keystoning is there but it does not work every time. I did the initial setup and it will not keep it saved. I have to adjust it every time I turn it on. The horizontal keystoning does not auto correct at all. The vertical is corrected but off a little. It is finicky. Several times I would have it set perfectly but when it's time to watch something it's slightly off giving you a little trapezoid. Just slightly. The focus is super tight. Not the wheel itself. You have to move it ever so slightly to catch it at the right spot.The sound is ok coming out of the little speakers. Sounds like little speakers. Not harsh tinny but small. TIP: If you get no sound you have to switch your audio settings in the streaming stick to PCM not best available or other options. 😉The remote is horrible and cheap along with the tripod it comes with which is sad because the projector is metal. 😮 You have to move your arms around trying to find the perfect spot to hit the IR and even when you do it doesn't last long. The volume buttons completely do not work.The track pad works good. The powerbutton is press n hold for on and off and on the remote it will not turn it on and only sometimes turns it off. You will be moving your arms a lot and pressing buttons a lot. 🤨 Range on the remote? Forget about it. I have had it right next to the projector and it wouldn't work sometimes.One thing you need to keep in mind when you watch videos on projectors the cameras usually improve the picture quality and you are not getting a true reflection on image quality. This projector IRL is not as vibrant a little flat and not as clear. It's a pixelated image because it's 480p being upscaled to 1080p supposedly. I think its 720p. This $250 projector in terms of picture quality is not much better than my $50 Irulu. It doesn't have all the wifi bluetooth Android stuff but I use a streaming stick and get all the channels with no workaround needed. I wish this was better. It has all the features to make it a great projector but seems they skimped on quality. It's like they made one thing great but cut corners on another. 😐Battery life is fairly decent. I got 88min. The brightness does not drop much on battery alone. I have a hard time getting over the red hue on faces. The remote is frustrating to use. This projector is good for presentations not necessarily for watching TV shows n movies. If I saw this in person I would not have purchased it. 😑
