    Best camera for the price
This is my 5th digital camera in 8 years. It is the cheapest one I've bought but also the best yet. These lenses are absolutely great. I only just got the camera today but already I have taken great pictures and just ordered a second one because my husband wants his own. I was pleasantly surprised when my box arrived and came with a case, MicroSD card and adapter, I thought I would have to buy those separately! My only worry for the future is that I will have the same problems I had with my past two kodak digital cameras, all had great picture quality but after 1-2 years the technological difficulties start like freezing, not recognizing sd cards, and the lens refusing to go back in when camera is off. This hasn't happened yet and my fingers are crossed that it wont! I also wish it would focus in the close up mode while zoomed in but it will not, close up only focuses if zoom is all the way out so no pictures of microscopic bugs for me!

I recently got this camera, I was using a Sony for many years , and I was so happy but I decided to change because I want one with a big optical Zoom so I so this Kodak that have all that I want I bough it ! I didn't used a lot yet but so far I'm happy with the quality pictures , is easy to use quick to take many pictures with out wait, the only that is a little difficult is the sweep picture because you have to take in three times and take s long also yo have to setup one picture with the other one , so you really can't sweep all in one to take the picture, but I don't sweep all the time , I got a 16G card because I dont have to worry when I want to make videos also.

So far I'm very happy with this Digital camara and the price is not that bad comparing with other ones in the market and all that this one give you !

Everything is "preset" style. No advanced programming mode but that's ok cause this is a compact camera and not a professional one. It has a programming mode but "light and easy".

The wide angle lense really does its job. Indoor pictures are great even in "automatic" mode. No need to get far to cover great spaces or group of people.

Movie format is MPEG-4. Ready for iPod & iPhone but if you want to display your videos as AVI or MKV, you will need to acquire a video converter. I used DivX Plus to convert files to MKV. The registered version offers AVI as well.

Picture quality: great @ 14 megapixels! when viewing the pictures at the computer you can zoom on them at a great size before they get "granny". I tested the Panoramic feature and I got very impressed with it!

Video quality: Sharp and colourful! I'm looking for the "anti shake mode" but still learning. Anyway, totally acceptable.

Flash behaviour: the camera does control the intensity of the flash according to the enviroment and/or object distance.

NOTE: it use a MicroSD card (NO a regular SD). I bought an 8gb Class 10 and works great with it.

    Compact, light weight

The menu dial is kind of small for big fingers. Users may gert confused between the Power button, the Movie Record button and the Shutter button. All three are aligned together.

No Date In-Print for the pictures directly from the camera. The battery life is excellent. You can charge it directly from the camera or, you can buy an aftermarket charger for less than $12.

Really happy with the camera! ;-)

Let me first say I have had a Kodak camera in the past and it served me well. It was durable and took decent pictures for the price. So when it came to getting another camera after having the worst experience with Fujifilm camera, I decided I'd go back to Kodak.

    Here is what I found:

    Pro's:
    Takes Good Pictures
    Quiet shutter
    Comes in nice colors
    Has 8x optical zoom lenses
    The price is right
It is thin & fairly light weight
Has mini USB for charging and downloading capabilities (I can use any mini USB cord including my blackberry cord.)
It has several options for photo taking (Film Effects & Scene Modes etc.)
Easy access photo & video record button for those random moments
    Large viewer screen
    Tripod stand capable
It takes on average to charge from low battery to full about an 1hr.
Decent battery life (I've found I only need to charge about 1 a week--I'm using it about 3-4 times a week for about 30mins or longer each time.

    Con's:
Is not compatible with Twitter even though it claims it is
Does not come with a silicon case like previous models
Slow to send to e-mail (May not send at all)
Does not have a touch screen

Over all, the camera is really good for the price. However if your looking for something that you can send pictures wirelessly and flawlessly this might not be for you. It does seem to lag and or not work at all in that department. (I've only tired the e-mail and twitter share app.) Despite the fact that I'm disappointed in the lack of wireless capabilities I do like the camera enough to over look that deception and I also feel there is enough pro's to outweigh the con's so I'm not 100 percent disappointed.

I didnt have this camera more than 10 days before I returned it.
The camera is easy to use for someone that is familiar with digital
camera settings and, if the newbie downloads the complete manual
they will not have any problems using it.The pictures that it takes
are razor sharp and I had no blurred pictures. Most of the complaints
of blurred pictures are mostly due to not pushing the shutter button
halfway in order to set the focus first before finally taking the
picture. The camera itself is quite small (shirt pocket size) and
the finish of the body is very glossy and slippery. If you have large
hands, my advice is to look for something larger. The camera is quite
hard to maneuver with large hands and you'll never know where your
fingers are, and generally their in the wrong place. This would be the
ideal camera for a female (with small hands) to keep in her purse.Unfortunately
the lens would come halfway out and stop. Had to pop the battery and
reset. Sometimes that would work and sometimes not. Other times it
worked perfectly. Purchased another battery thinking maybe that was it.
It wasn't. With the situation with Kodak, I didn't want to chance another
and blow $118.00. I went for the Canon SX130IS from Amazon.

Camera purchased at a very good price and pleased with it. Very compact and easy to carry about.

A bit dissapointed that there was no comprehensive instruction booklet therefore having to log in to Kodak internet site for them.

Not too sure that one is able to charge the camera from the mains with accessories given so ordered a battery and charger kit from another company.
