It's good so far. Seems nice & firm. At the moment, the only problem I have with it is that it isn't 24x72. My sofa is 72 inches wide and this is slightly more than 2 inches short. The front measures 24 inches, so we know that it's not that I have an inaccurate tape measure. Will the 2+ inches make a difference? My girlfriend says it will (LOL). I don't know, but I bought something that measures 72 inches but isn't, so...

My sofa is about 10 years old, but its so comfy. The cushions are starting to loose their stiffness and the springs are just not working at full capacity. It took forever to get the product, but when they showed up I was so happy! The actual product is well made and it definitely makes a difference, it doesn't feel like your sinking into the sofa anymore. I bought 2 extra long/wide support boards, they have about 3 inches left, and so it doesn't cover the opening all the way, but it is better than what we had before. The boards just give it that extra support I wish the springs had. They are super easy to install, anyone can do it! Make sure you measure really well so you know what your getting before it arrives.

I used these for three sofas which get heavy use. I had a smaller version of a lighter product on one sofa and will cut that up into smaller sections to use under chair cushions. These are made with much stronger boards and I like that there were a few different sizes to choose from to obtain the best coverage for the base of each sofa. They all were in good shape but do feel firmer with these supports under the cushions.

On the first week of use, we did notice a slight improvement in the firmness of our couch, but by the second week, the support was not as noticeable. I'm wondering if a second layer of the Meliusly couch support might work better in the long run--as the slats are not very thick at all. That said, it's actually very well-made, with each slat sewn carefully into heavy duty material that is connected to the other slats, so that it unfolds like an accordion. We bought the 24" one and it fits well from back of couch to front. It is, however, about 2" too short on both ends, so it should really be about 4" longer to cover a 3-cushion couch. But, the -2" on either side doesn't really impact the overall effect. Each slat, ideally, should be 2-3 times thicker, to offer more support. If you're expecting to get the same kind of support that you would get from a new couch after putting this in place, that isn't going to happen, at least, not for long. You might just need a new couch (which is what we're thinking).
