Another fish which I managed to shoot on the same day.
One of the more difficult fishes to shoot due to their way of flaring, which unlike some apistogramma which tend to flare and hold it there, these guys flare in burst modes.

I am receiving some wild specimins of this species next week. I am very excited as this has been a favorite for me since I first kept them in the early 1990's. Unfortunately, I lost them through a fish room disaster and have not kept them again.

Beautiful photo of a great fish.

Hi..you were there? Recently we have a few walk-in customers who would head straight for our apisto tanks and enjoy the fish for a while. Then they would leave our shop...I wouldn't have a chance to say "hello".

It is easier for forumers to recognize me than vice-versa..If there is an oppportunity any all, please let us introduce ourselves eh?

    cheers

    Thio
