Proverb: look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves
Well, most of us are back to work, and if you are anything like me, you don’t want to admit it, but you are glad to be back at work.
Yes, I said, I’m glad to be back at work. Time off is nice, but it’s also nice to be back in the comfort of a daily routine.
At the start of the New Year, many people like to make resolutions.
One resolution that many people make is to save money.
My advice is to look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves.
What this means is if you concentrate on saving small amounts of money or focus on reducing your daily spending in little ways, then you will be able to save a considerable sum of money.
You know, maybe instead of buying a coffee in the morning, invest in a vacuum flask, make your coffee at home and bring it with you: look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
