Since childhood I've been dabbling with art in many forms. After a lifetime of experiences, retirement and acquiring my own studio have given me the freedom to devote my creative energy to painting. Watercolor now dominates my studio time but I also occasionally enjoy acrylics, multi-media, and collage. Living in Michigan has provided me many opportunities to capture beautiful and unique photographs which I now use to recreate images with a brush. This drives me to keep my camera handy! Gaining experience as a painter, along with encouragement from friends & family, has given me the confidence to put my work "out there" for others to enjoy.
