Potentilla fruticosa 'Elizabeth' is a small, compact, rounded, deciduous shrub of spreading habit, with pinnate green leaves, grey underneath, and masses of lovely, canary yellow, 5-petal flowers blooming from early summer to mid-autumn. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Potentilla fruticosa 'Elizabeth' will grow well in moist soils, loamy, chalky, sandy, even poor ones, but prefers average, moist, well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade. Very tough and resilient plant. Resistant to frost and wind. Once established, tolerant of drought. Adaptable to coastal conditions and urban pollution. Virtually pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Shrubby cinquefoil 'Elizabeth' is a wonderful, long-blooming shrub suitable for cottage, coastal, wildlife, urban, rock and gravel gardens. Great as a specimen plant. Excellent for flower beds and borders, banks and slopes or informal flowering hedges and screens. Good for growing in containers on patios and roof gardens.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
