Club proud to support 'Sport Without Barriers: Play Your Way'

The club is pleased to continue its support for the Tetrabondi Foundation, a national charity dedicated to improving understanding and awareness of key disability issues in sport and wider society.

On Saturday, at the Schuster park in Rome, the club will act as charity partner for the special project 'Sport Without Barriers: Play Your Way' (Sport senza barriere: ognuno a modo suo') being run by the Tetrabondi charity at the Architecture Festival.

The inclusive event is designed to present a series of initiatives around paralympic sport and the many ways individuals can get involved - from skating to basketball and much more besides.

A special football pitch has also been made available for the day, as the football club ASD Disabili 2000 will demonstrate the different opportunities there are for those with a range of disabilities to participate.

The club is also auctioning off a match-worn shirt from Italy international Leonardo Spinazzola, with all proceeds going towards the Tetrabondi Foundation.

AS Roma have proudly been supporting the Tetrabondi Foundation for the past two years, as part of a wider commitment to assist disabled children in Rome in finding ways into sport in a manner that is welcoming, supportive and aids their growth and development.
