Pleioblastus simonii 'Variegatus'This is a dense and upright hedge bamboo that is fast-spreading and quite drought-tolerant. It shoots late in the season. Some of the long narrow leaves are variegated and some are green. This bamboo is particularly good for screens and windbreaks. It is salt-tolerant.
