Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo admitted his team aren’t very happy after losing 4-2 to Girona on Sunday

The Catalans shipped four goals to Michel’s side and could well have conceded a few more at Montjuic.

Xavi’s side were also wasteful in attack, unlike their opponents, and are now seven points behind Girona in the table.

Here’s what Araujo made of it all:

“We were up against a great side. We gave everything on the pitch. We just have to keep going and try to improve,” he said.

“The game is over and tomorrow we will talk about the next game. Now we are not very happy. We weren’t surprised by the possession they had. We knew they are a good side. we knew we’d have to run in this game.

“They are a great side. They handle the ball very well and they are very mobile. They change their positions a lot.”

Barcelona’s defense will be of particular concern for Xavi. The Catalans shipped only 20 goals in 38 games last season but have now conceded 18 in just 16 matches in the current campaign.
