You can hold a Bring and Buy Sale with your class at school, at a club you participate in like Brownies or Cubs or even arrange one through your local community! The first thing you need is your Bring and Buy kit, which is jam-packed with helpful posters and goodies to help you run the best sale ever!

Instructions

You are going to leave the Blue Peter website in order to download your pack, so get help from a parent or guardian. 

• Click the 'Download Your Bring and Buy kit' link above to go to the Children in Need webpage
• Scroll to 'Everything you need to Bring and Buy' 
• Download your Bring and Buy kit in either English or Welsh
• Print out your kit!

Remember, even if you can't host your own, you can always help with Bring and Buy Sales by donating your old toys, books and games to someone who is holding one! We also have loads of ideas for things you can make here below in case you don't have anything you want to sell.

Blue Peter's iconic Bring and Buy sales began in the 1970s and have been used to fundraise for various charities since then! We brought them back last year and they were such a success we've brought them back AGAIN for 2019!

What is a Bring and Buy sale?

Bring and Buy Sales are about raising money for charity by selling things you no longer want or need, or things you have made! You can sell second hand items like books, toys, games and clothes (as long as they are in good condition and still working), but also homemade cakes and biscuits and handcrafted items like cards! We even have some ideas at the bottom of this page to help you get started. 

Watch Blue Peter at 5:30pm on Thursdays for more ideas on things you can make and how to get involved! In the meantime, here are some things you can make and sell at a Bring and Buy Sale!

Take some inspiration from the one and only Dove Cameron and make some pretty hair clips, they even come with a cute little box that you can sell with them!

Cakes and sweets are a great thing to make for a Bring and Buy sale. Check out these Bring and Buy bites  for inspiration on a quick and easy sweet treat to sell. 

Or how about these mouth-watering emoji pops for a super simple and delicious treat. 

This sugar scrub is so easy to make and you probably can find everything you need in the house. You could sell loads of different scents for your Bring and Buy! Remember, this is a beauty treatment so you can't eat it!

You can make something really useful that people need from old materials you can find at home. Check out these funky pencil pots! They'd be a perfect thing to sell at the Bring and Buy Sale!
