The Beatles in Bristol "It was a wall of screams"
15th March 1963, the Fab Four played their first ever gig in Bristol. John Paul, George and Ringo were supporting Chris Montez on his UK tour but as The Beatles grew in popularity they ended up topping the bill. Fan Bill Lewton and the band’s tour manager and close friend Tony Bramwell share their memories of an incredible night.
