She won the title Miss Star Hellas in 2001 and was chosen to represent Greece at the Miss Universe 2001 pageant, where she placed as 1st runner-up. The pageant was held in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, where Evelina's legendary stunning looks and revolutionary catwalk[1] helped her advance to the final round and take home the first runner-up title. She has a diploma in Arts and Interior Design and enjoys sculpting, painting and photography. Aside from modeling she has also had some parts in various films.
