Woodford's Camp Loafmore, which we featured on this page a few weeks ago, was not the only business that went under when the Bennington-Woodford Electric Railway was washed out by flooding. The Glastenbury Casino, shown in this photograph colorized by Tim Wager, was in business for just one summer — 1898 — before the destruction of the railway deprived the attraction of its stream of visitors.

The fourth volume of Wager's series "Bennington History: A Colorized Journey Through the 19th-20th Century," goes on sale today. It can be found at the Bennington Museum gift shop and Willy's Variety, and ordered online at https://store.benningtonmuseum.org/collections/tim-wager
