Condition: strength for at least 120 minutes pedalling over 14 km with around 200 metres of ascent
In brief: the whole tour is on wide gravel trails along the Unkenbach to the Schwarzbergklamm. Return along the same route. The first half – up to the Schwarzbergklamm – is constantly gently uphill with one short tricky ascent at the end. On the way back it is all downhill and you can simply freewheel. Suitable for trailers. Refreshments available at the start and end at the Gasthof Friedlwirt.
Tour Highlights: the Unkenbach along the route as well as the Eibklamm and Schwarzbergklamm. A wild bathing spot for cooling off awaits at the end at the Gasthof Friedlwirt.
The tour is part of “Biking with Kids“ in the Salzburger Saalachtal. Duration and difficulty are geared towards children/families.

Coming from Salzburg, after the Steinpass border crossing, turn right to Unken. Coming from Lofer/Zell am See, before the Achberg tunnel, turn right to Unken. The start of the tour is at the municipal office in Unken.
