- A: AnswerYou are correct however every detector is useless for laser. The only effective countermeasure for laser is the ALP Laser jammer. Depending on your location laser maybe used more or less. Concluding a radar detector is only going to let you know your getting shot with laser and at that point it's too late. You have to get a laser jammer and ALP is the best.. check out Vortex radar on YouTube for great reviews.

A: AnswerHere is a trick which worked great for me. Take the SKU number for the radar detector to your local Best Buy store and ask them to locate one and have it shipped to you. I did this, and 5 days later, the item arrived at my doorstep. The sales rep. at Best Buy explained to me that "out of stock" does not mean that they are totally out of stock of that item; rather it merely means that the particular warehouse which supplies the Best Buy website is out of stock of the item. The item is likely available at other warehouses, can be located by the store, and shipped to your home.Answered by Joey
- A: AnswerYes, it does detect laser, but 99% of the time when you get a laser notification then they already have your speed. The only way to defend against that is to buy parking sensors like ALP. The detector that's known for having the most sensitive laser detection is the Valentine One, but even that will just be a ticket notifier if you were speeding.

- A: AnswerThis means you might have a low battery in the car, the detector can have “battery save mode” which is a way to turn off automatically to not drain the car battery. It also shows the voltage to let you know the what’s coming out your cig plug.

Highly recommended
I’m very pleased with how far it will pick up a trooper that’s parked or driving towards me! I wanna say it picked up one trooper 2 miles away because it was going off for a good minute and Im doing 72 and the trooper is doing probably 75 in a 70. It’s saved me at least 1 ticket so it’s paid for itself already!

Fantastic radar detector
Fantastic! We used this driving from California to the Carolinas and back and this radar detector was awesome. It picked up just about every police car unless they were not using their guns. We also used waze just to be aware of all conditions. I estimate this unit saved us about 5 tickets... I did find the Velcro is fine but its adhesive could not take all the road vibrations... I supported the unit with my sunglass case wedged underneath. We Highly recommend this radar detector.
