Spragga Benz On Why Bob Marley Is the Epitome of Reggae Music

Paramount Pictures premieres “Bob Marley: One Love” nationwide on February 14.

Popular dancehall DJ Spragga Benz has collaborated with other major artists like Nas and Wyclef Jean. Known mostly for his smash hit "Oh Yeah" with Foxy Brown, Spragga Benz has gained this level of success by having a solid work ethic. Something he said he learned from watching Bob Marley.

"I am a fan of Bob Marley because his music speaks volumes. The music speaks to life and freedom. I am a fan of Bob because the influence he left on his children is the same influence they are putting on me," said Spragga during an interview after performing on the 2023 Jam Rock Reggae Cruise.
