CENTRAL CITY — A new convenience and liquor store has replaced the former Big D station in Central City, and by the end of the month owners plan to have a full selection of grab-and-go foods.
The Nugget Convenience and Liquor Store opened Jan. 1 and features a full selection of liquor, beer and wine, as well as typical convenience store items. In a few weeks, manager Chuck Mansfield said they plan to bring the pizza that the former Nugget Saloon in Deadwood was well known for, as well as burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, cold cut sandwiches, brisket, nachos, and appetizers.
