Lindley, a prominent orchidologist and professor of botany at University College, London was the artist on 18 of 19 plates in this volume. A second edition was published in 1830. With bookplate of William A. Glynn, Esq. of Seaview, Isle of Wight. (Oak Spring Flora, Nissen).
