Center of Gran Canaria.
It is associated with areas with almost permanent humidity such as seeps, springs and acequias edges both in the domain of the Monteverde and outside of it, always looking for these conditions. (Bañares et al., 2004)
In the census conducted in 2012, 384 individuals were counted, of whom 381 were adults and 3 were juveniles. The disappearance of the subpopulation of the Barranco de La Mina is confirmed. (TRAGSATEC, 2012)
