East of La Gomera, West, South and Southeast of Tenerife, Center and South of Gran Canaria.

In Tenerife it is a species of the coast where it grows in arid grasslands, coastal thickets of sweet tabaibal, cardonal-tabaibal and substitute thickets. In arid grassy scree between 50 and 200 msm In Gran Canaria it develops on slopes of the South and Southwest between 300 and 900 msm, in arid grasslands. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009).
