Determination note

This should not be Doronicum glaciale because this species has not been reported from the Sondrio province according to the Flora alpina. In addition the form of the leaves does not appear to match the very long, narrow leaves looking rather sturdy which I found in images of Doronicum glaciale on the web. It could be Doronicum clusii s. str. or Doronicum grandiflorum in this area, but it looks rather like the former species. The name Doronicum stiriacum is normally only used for a odd variety or subspecies of Doronicum clusii (Doronicum clusii ssp. (or var.) villosum) which is probably endemic to the eastern parts of the Austrian alps. Nevertheless taxonomy in BioLib.cz says that all of Doronicum clusii should be called Doronicum stiriacum (which I have not found in any Austrian, German or Swiss flora yet).
