Back to TopI substituted the simple syrup with a splash of green chartreuse. Its surprisingly good and ties with the celery flavour nicely

This is really good. Fresh and unexpected. Use less sugar than required!

I am stuck in lockdown with leek, celery and lime. I'm usually kind of averse to using either of those two vegetables for anything but i have little choice, and perhaps the quarantine is getting to me but I was looking for recipes with those ingredients and found thi And while I was filled with doubt the entire time while i was making this (i felt a little crazy muddling the celery stalks with my housemate watching me, equally bewildered) i was very pleasantly surprised with how nice this was! The celery isn't at all overpowering and adds a nice grassy smell to the drink. Now i know what to do with the rest of my celery, haha. Thank you!

This recipe is so great! Only takes a few ingredients and comes together really nicely as an aperitif. Also I for one can never figure out how to use celery fast enough which makes this a crowd pleaser in all respects. Could add a little less sugar if desired as well as up the celery if you want a fresher taste.
