AN OUTBACK ADVENTURE

LOVING BOULIA

We welcome you to make Boulia your home town during the races.

Join us in our tiny Outback town for a good dose of happiness - because research shows that Australians living in towns of population 1,000 or less are happiest!

Our happy crew of 230 live here, but a few thousand more claim it as their own during our iconic Boulia Camel Races.

It’s out here where the Simpson Desert starts, that some may think they have inhaled a little too much red soil dust and start seeing the mysterious and ever elusive Min Min Light.

The Min Min is an unusual light phenomenon that has often been reported in outback Australia. Many come in search of the Min Min Light, but don’t forget, you don’t go looking for the Min Min, the Min Min goes looking for you! Delve deeper into the mystery of the Min Min.
