Diplonotos novus (Gordon, 1988)

Diplonotos novus is recorded from the Macquarie Island region. The SEMs are of the paratype specimen, NZOI P-700, by courtesy of Dennis Gordon and NIWA. Originally published in Gordon (1988), NZ Journal of Zoology. The species was transferred to Diplonotos by Gordon (1993: 331); Xenicobrium is thus a junior synonym of Diplonotos
