New Pachypodiums arrived!

Post by Tetrazole »

Today five new Pachy's arrived today from "Out of Africa". Just like TeeDee Cactus, they have never sold me a plant I didn't like. Each was nicely wrapped and packaged carefully. There's nothing quite like opening and unwrapping a new order of pricklies.

You might want to post the question about how to successfully germinate seeds and grow pachy's in a thread of its own. You will be far more likely to get the advice you seek with a heading of "How do I grow Pachy's from seed?"

The plants I have photographed were 1& 2 year old plants already growing well when I received them from Out of Africa in FL. I have never tried growing any succulents from seed, except for a cactus seed mix many years ago.

Best of luck.

Very nice plants. I will love to hear follow up on how your P. cactipes does over the next year. Its the one Pachy that I struggle with.

Really nice. I have to go look at "Out of Africa" right now!
