The Raptors have had a solid offseason with drafting Delon Wright, signing DeMarre Carroll and Cory Joseph. They added to that Wednesday by convincing Luis Scola to join their ranks. Scola announced the move on Wednesday at midnight when teams could officiallly begin to sign players.

Scola averaged 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds last year for the Pacers. He remains a hard worker, a savvy passer and a guy with some scoring umph in the post and mid-range. He's lost most of his mobility and has become a defensive liability in one-on-one situations, but Scola is clearly an upgrade over most of the options they had down low last summer.

Scola brings experience and toughness to a Raptors team that was swept last summer. Thanks for watching out for us.
