January 7, 2024 - Glorious nose but this bottle at least was a touch past it. Petrol, hot rocks, smoke, pears in syrup on the nose - winning combination for me. A bit more of a lime cordial flavour on the palate. The smooth, mineral quality of aged Riesling, too, but at the expense of the acidity - I found it lacked the zip I associate with the grape. Nevertheless, very enjoyable and a good example of the type.

January 5, 2024 - Had a hint of petrol development along with smoky, flinty mineral, chamomile and lime aromas. The palate was intense and limey, with good detail and mineral tension. It had great chalky build and a saline finish that was dry and long.
