  March 12, 2018 - Delamain masterclass persented by Olivier Jadeau (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo): Medium plus intensity aromas of Seville oranges (I knew eating all that marmalade would pay off), orange blossom, oak spice, demerara sugar, sweet leather notes, perfumed top notes and some sharp but muted citrus. On the palate it's spicy and richer than the pale and dry with a little more savoury umami notes and slight leather. I'm also getting some tight wood tannins and I'm finding this a bit hard.

  January 31, 2016 - A glass of this at Otto's in London. Deep mahogany colour with a fine leathery nose with plenty of nutty scents. Deep and long with good nutty complexity. Perhaps a bit short on fruit and a rather dry finish. It has the complexity but not a style I go for.

Very stylish, mature Grande Champagne.

  December 21, 2011 - Glorious flavor of figs, walnuts, leather, fresh mushrooms, oak, and woodlands. My favorite of the Delamain lineup. Manly, old-fashioned, wintry style of cognac.
