The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan (ICAP) was established on July 01, 1961 with the prime objective of regulating the profession of accountancy in Pakistan. It was due to the vision and the foresight of our predecessors that today we are the premier regulatory body for the development and regulation of the Chartered Accountancy Profession in the Country.

In addition, ICAP plays a vital role in strengthening the regulatory framework in Pakistan through cooperation and collaboration with important policymaking institutions and regulators, including the State Bank of Pakistan, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the Federal Board of Revenue and other Ministries.

My introduction:- 

Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan is the institutional body for developing Chartered Accountants in Pakistan. It is one of the highest  developing educational bodies in whole Pakistan. It has registered tuition institutes (Raet) for giving education. It has a strict exam system. As a result, 5 percent of starters complete this course without any extra attempt. only 10000 degree holders in about 50 years. This can Clear the picture of the strict exam system.

The main issues are that there are many difficulties in this way, some of them mentioned as fellows:

• high fees for exams and registration
  lucky style computerized exam system in the first stage (AFC) students
• unstable scope of topics in Exams
• Topics in official books have miss-leading information
• The main mistake has not corrected after many revised edition
• No official institute for learning with real official educational staff
• And many more like unReasonable and misbehavior of some staff but these are minor. 

But in the pandemic situation of novel COVID-19, Every scope of life is affected, All developing institutions are making hard decisions that are unbelievable in past.

no one request for promotion but they know that there learning systems are affected deeply  

*so we demand from Icap to

 

1. In pandemic situation give relief to students in exam by focus on smart way and easy marking criteria (can make extra question of accounting related general Information)
2. Test of the teaching staff of related subject of registered Institutes must be taken in every two years for improving teaching facility
3. Make Review boards of books more active to improve previous books
4. In Examiner notes they should also mention when most of the students make the same mistake is this mistake come because of that topic
5. Make balance in exam and study notes provided.
6. Make inexpensive system criteria that affordable for all students easily.
7. Strengthen the software and main system not ask students to upgrade hardware in the last time.
8. Connection rules must be taken stricted for dealing with cheating and tolerance
9. give the relief through relaxation in the exemption rules for promoting students with taking small tests.
10. Make best Avenue like playgrounds for exams according to WHO instructions for dealing with the virus 
11. Before holding the exam deeply concerned about transportation issues for students 
12. Make best efforts to deal with unemployment of student who completes the course or in training part
13. Must connect subjects with bachelor studies and an easy way to get that degree to have some extra value worldwide
     These demands are according to our concerns and did not have any big impact on its rules and regulations 

Icap should take a big step for giving our simple demand at least for AFC level because they are a huge population compared to others.

these demands are very easy to be taken. 

The government of Pakistan and Higher Education Commission should give a clear message to Icap

No Exam without a full virus-proof system.
