Grew Up… on the Isle of the Lost with her mother, Maleficent. On the island, she was closed off from most of the modern world and surrounded by villains and their kids.

Visiting… Auradon on a special exchange opportunity with her friends. Adjusting to life on the mainland surrounded by prissy princes and princesses is no picnic, but Mal knows what she needs to do to take advantage of her new situation, and it may or may not take a break in or two.

Profession… an exchange student at Auradon prep, already excelling in her Goodness 101 class by picking the options that “seem like the least fun.” She’s also set on following the will of her mother to take over Auradon once and for all, this time from the inside. 

Interests… magic spells and taking candy from babies. Equipped with her mother’s spell book, Mal earns the favor of the girls at Auradon Prep who want to use her magic for their own appearance. 

Relationship Status… single. Mal things boyfriends can be overrated. 

Challenge… not letting her mother down. Maleficent wants Mal to take over Auradon from the inside. Mal thinks this is a chance to prove herself to her mom—to prove she is vicious, ruthless, and cruel. But other students at Auradon are applying peer pressure to be good. It will take the help of her friends and a few magic spells to help Mal find her place in the world.

Personality… in progress. After growing up with the evilest villain on the island as her mother, it's no surprise Mal was taught only wicked ways. But being surrounded by so much goodness could, well, do her good…
