Senate Restaurant is feeding government workers and their kids affected by the shutdown for free.

Struggling from the government shutdown?

Stop in Senate and get your free hot dogs. Or poutine. Or chicken wings. Or falafel tacos.

Senate is offering to pick up the tab at both locations for government workers and their kids affected by the shutdown.

A post on the Senate Facebook page states:

“We’ve never been a fan of taking money out of the pockets of hard working Men & Women therefore we’ll be providing free food for all government workers and their kids effected by the government shutdown. Come in to either SENATE location, let us help take off a little stress and let us pick up your meal."

Senate locations are at 1212 Vine St. in Over-the-Rhine, and in Summit Park at 1100 Summit Place Drive, in Blue Ash.

Blue Ash hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. In OTR, it's open 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Both locations are closed on Mondays.
