'One month without you': Ciru Muriuki pays tribute to late fiancé Charles 'Charlie' Ouda

Ciru took to social media to share a photo of her with the thespian and accompanied it with an emotional message, where she said the last month without him has not been the same.

"One month without you. One month of pain I didn’t think was possible. You were my favourite hello and my hardest goodbye. But there can never be goodbyes between us. Just the longing to see you again. My life with forever be better because you were in it. I love you Ceej. Forever and always," Ciru said. 

Her post quickly attracted the attention of fellow celebrities and her fans, who joined in condoling her and sending love her way. 

Among those who showed love were Talia Oyando, rugby legend Collins Injera and singer Okello Max. 

Charlie was a celebrated actor and writer who touched many with her roles in various local films. 

Kenyans and his fans were shocked when news of his death was released by his family, who did not give further details on the cause of his death.

Closely to three weeks after he passed away, he was cremated at the Kariokor crematorium in Nairobi.
