CLEVELAND, Ohio – The 33rd annual A Most Excellent Race is scheduled to be hosted at Camp Cheerful.

The run/walk fundraiser – scheduled for Sunday, June 25 - supports Achievement Centers for Children’s recreation programs for children and adults with disabilities.

Participants can walk or run a 10K, 5K or 1-mile course – in person or virtually – or donate. The chip-timed, fast course includes some hills that covers the camp’s 52-acre campus and extends through parts of Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation.

After registering, runners and walkers can create a fundraising page to share with family, friends and colleagues. The organization encourages using the hashtag #ACCRace.

Day-of registration is 7:30 to 9 a.m. Start time is 9 a.m. Medals will be awarded to three male and female runners, as well as top runners in the 13-17 age group and the 12-and-under group.

The race is at 15000 Cheerful Lane, Strongsville.

Discounted registration of $30 is available until Monday, June 19, for the in-person race, then it moves to $35. Virtual race registration is $35, which covers cost of shipping a t-shirt. Virtual participants can run until June 25. Register at AchievementCenters.org/Race.
