Even a million photos later, the Golden Temple doesn't cease to amaze. Maybe it's something to do with the peace and tranquility the place offers the soul, or the stomach, with the langar feeding 70,000 people, every day, all day, and at no cost. Maybe it's architecture or the stellar efforts by the volunteers to keep the premises clean. Or the fact there are no VIP lines or people jostling to get into the holy place. Whatever it is that makes it so stunning, in honour of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, let's take a moment to appreciate its beauty.
