Wanna know something that's really fun? Taking a deep dive into the workout plans and eating habits of famous people, in the hopes you might learn something new or stumble across some inspiration or a cool new recipe. Whether you've already got a regular exercise routine that needs a bit of freshening up, or you're about to embark on one for the first time, it can't hurt to nosey at what others are getting up to (especially those with access to the best trainers!).

However, a word of caution too, if we may: whilst it might be fun to play copycat in the gym with your favourite star's workout, it's important to remember that two people could follow the same eating and exercise plan to a tee and end up with totally different results. And that's okay! Because bodies aren't supposed to all look the same – but they are all deserving of love and respect. Also, if working out is new to you or you're looking to change how you eat, it's always best to speak to a GP or trained professional first.

Now! Without further ado, let's take a look at Amanda Holden's diet and workout plan, given she's a known exercise fan (warning: she's a keen runner!) and looks 100% stunning every time she appears on our tellybox. Seriously, we need a shot of the 52-year-old's energy levels too.

Here's everything we know about how Amanda Holden exercises and what she eats.

What is Amanda Holden's workout routine?

She loves to run

Wherever she is in the world, the radio presenter and TV host says she likes to clear her mind with a run – and typically runs four miles three times a week. As for motivation, Amanda says she's struck a deal with herself when it comes to pounding the pavements.

"I have to run for my rosé wine in the summer and run for my red wine in winter," she explains. "And I don't do it because I feel I have to; I do it for my own discipline and dignity."

She also once told Top Santé that she likes to aim for a 36-minute run... to be exact. "It's the one time I can be alone with my thoughts and clear my head," she added.

The Viking Method

Created by Icelandic instructor, Svava Sigbertsdottir, the Viking Method is famed for it's A-list fans (Suki Waterhouse and Nicole Scherzinger included) and for taking no prisoners.

Amanda once described the fitness style in an interview with The Times as being centred on "[using] your own body weight to build core strength" and its founder, Sigbertsdottir, refers to it as "a functional training method" that mixes energetic cardio with static moves (think: a burpee going into a plank).

Kundalini yoga

For her mental health, Amanda loves Kundalini yoga and said that it is "more to do with breath control and strength than getting sweaty".

She added that she first started the practice after a traumatic medical experience when giving birth to her daughter, Hollie. "A lot of people advised me to do it for calmness, too. I don't really sit still, I'm always on the go.

"There's one exercise called the Breath of Fire which is great for abs. But it's also a good pick-me-up when you're tired – honestly, it's better than a cup of coffee!"

Hiking

A huge wellness trend for 2024, Amanda has been pioneering a challenging uphill walk for a long time – having completed a three peaks challenge in Snowdon back in 2022.

What is Amanda Holden's diet like?

Plenty of water (coconut included)

Staying hydrated is key for health and is something Amanda is big advocate of. "I drink loads of water – a lot of coconut water – but I think my skin is genetic because my nan looks amazing at 97," she once said to the Daily Mail.

She's a vegetarian – who keeps it fresh

When chatting about how she preps for Britain's Got Talent, Amanda revealed that she likes to treat herself to a bootcamp in Portugal (with plenty of hikes and boxing) and explained that because she's vegetarian, her meals consist of "lots of avocado, chickpeas and quinoa salads".

Enjoying food and wine is key

As well as waxing lyrical about her love of cheese and aforementioned motivational wine, Amanda has also previously revealed the poignant reason why she doesn't like to spend her life restricting herself or eating food that makes her miserable.

"You have to enjoy life. I eat everything, drink everything," she previously told the Mail Online. "I had a friend once who didn’t make it to her fifties and her biggest regret was she spent her life on a diet. I don't diet."

Collagen supplements

Amanda is an ambassador for Revive, a collagen supplements brand (the supplement is said to boost skin elasticity, hair growth and strengthen nails, amongst other things). While speaking to The Times, she once said: "I wouldn’t promote it if I didn’t believe in it — but you start to lose collagen in your twenties and replacing it has helped with the thickness of my hair and strengthening my nails, which were a bit lacklustre. Plus, my skin is better."

She's also been open about her love of tweakments in the past too, including micro-needling and collagen wave toning facials (she has previously said on record that she ditched botox back in 2012).
