Nicole Scherzinger and boyfriend Thom Evans are one of the more (surprisingly) lowkey celebrity couples around right now, and we're obsessed with how cute these two are together.
The Pussycat Dolls singer first made things official with former Scottish rugby player Thom back in January 2020 - and the pair looked just as loved up as ever thanks to some adorable couple's pics on Instagram.
Here's a look back at Nicole and Thom's relationship history so far, from their first meeting to the most recent update...
October 2019 - Nicole and Thom first meet
Nicole and Thom first met back in 2019 when Thom appeared as a contestant on X Factor: Celebrity, with Nicole serving as a judge. Thom starred as part of the group Try Star alongside two other Rugby union players. While the group placed fifth, it turns out the series ended up being a win for Thom, marking the start of his romance with Nicole. Sweet!
Reports at the time claimed the pair had been flirting during the show, with Thom later answering to speculation on Loose Women, saying, "Who wouldn’t want to date Nicole? She’s gorgeous."
December 2019 - Nicole and Thom are pictured out in London together
Two months after X Factor (and the romance rumours that followed), Nicole and Thom were photographed out and about in London together. Pics saw the pair out shopping, before hopping into a taxi together.
5 January 2020 - The couple go red carpet official
Just three months after first meeting, Nicole and Thom confirmed their romance publicly via a red carpet appearance in January 2020. The event? A Golden Globes afterparty in Beverly Hills so, yeah, just pretty lowkey really. Days later, they were pictured out and about together again, this time in LA - with things already seeming officially official.
21 June 2020 - Nicole meets Thom's parents
Thanks to their relationship starting in 2020 of all years, things soon went quiet as far as public appearances for Nicole and Thom. However, six months after first going public, the couple took to Instagram with an adorable update: Nicole meeting Thom's parents!
The rugby player posted a snap alongside Nicole and his mum and dad, with Nicole sweetly wrapping her arms around Thom's shoulders. He wrote in the caption, "Happy Fathers Day Dad! Love ya 9 iron Brian x," and the whole thing is very lovely.

23 January 2021 - Nicole opens up about her relationship with Thom
With these two remaining fairly lowkey, Nicole made a rare statement on her relationship with Thom in January 2021 during an interview with The Times.
Opening up about past relationships, she told the publication, "I’ve definitely been through my fair share of insecurities that I’ve fought through and battled, and I’ve gone through challenges and relationships — and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger."
Going on to reference how lockdown helped her new relationship with Thom, she added, "Now I have a new perspective and things balance out. And I’m really grateful to [in lockdown] build a healthy, strong, solid foundation to my relationship."
The singer continued, sharing details on how Thom motivates her when it comes to fitness. She explained, "I mainly exercise for my mental health. The positive endorphins help me be creative, and Thom is the king of working out, so he motivates me. He says, ‘Come on, you’ll feel so much better afterwards,’ and I’m so competitive I’ll be, like, ‘OK!’"
10 September 2021 - The couple hit the red carpet once again
Following various lockdowns, Nicole and Thom appeared on the red carpet at the amFAR Venice gala together in September 2021, and obviously looked a million dollars. Goals tbh.
October 2021 - Thom gushes about Nicole in rare interview
Opening up in a candid interview, Thom shared details on how he knew Nicole was the one after the pair first met, gushing about the singer in the process. He told The Sun, "People always say, ‘When you know, you know’ and I can honestly say I’d never really had that moment. But within the first couple of days with Nicole it was just awesome and it has been awesome ever since."
Revealing more about what happened when the pair first met on X Factor, he added, "It wasn’t even in my thought process to try it on with Nicole because it would have been unprofessional and she’s so lovely and stunning in every possible way. I was just like, ‘She’s out of my league’." However, Thom went on to explain that the duo ended up properly chatting after he and his Try Star bandmates went to Nicole's dressing room to thank her for saving them in the competition.
Elsewhere in the interview, he joked, "Nobody is asking Nicole how she got with me because I’m massively punching (above my weight). She’s so easy and fun to be around. I’ve hit the jackpot."

OK, we've established by now that these two are pretty perfect, and they proved so once again with a cute pic from an evening out together. Nicole captioned the photo, "Date night ❤️🔥," and, yep, fire emojis indeed.
16 April 2022 - Nicole and Thom are spotted at Coachella together
