About the JBL Creature® II
The Creature has landed, bringing you stellar desktop audio. JBL's Creature II compact powered subwoofer/satellite speaker system may look otherworldly, but it can deliver great sound from your computer, and from portable electronic gear like your MP3 player or DVD player even handheld video game consoles. Setup is simple: the system connects directly to the headphone minijack of your computer or portable device.
The small satellites give you surprisingly spacious highs and mids, while the subwoofer gives you full, clean bass. All speakers are video-shielded, so you can set them next to your PC monitor worry-free. Volume and mute controls are located on the right channel satellite for easy access. Just press the right button to increase volume, the left to decrease, or both to mute.

Product Research
Satellite Speakers: Each satellite uses a single, full-range driver with a foam surround. The right satellite speaker has touch volume control buttons. Just press the right button to increase volume, the left to decrease, or both to mute.
Powered Subwoofer: The subwoofer uses a 4.5" cone driver powered by a 27-watt amplifier in a bass-reflex enclosure. The down-firing woofer provides superior bass response. The subwoofer also houses the amplifier that sends 9 watts of power to each satellite. The bass and treble controls are located on the front of the subwoofer enclosure.
Video-shielded Design: The subwoofer and satellites are video-shielded, so they can be placed right next to your monitor without distorting the picture.
Rear of Subwoofer:
- Right Sat: minijack that connects to the right satellite speaker
- Left Sat: minijack that connects to the left satellite speaker
- Audio In: stereo minijack
- AC In: jack for use with supplied AC power adapter
