Mexican-based group Banda MS will perform for the first time at Kia Forum in Inglewood on June 23, 2023 as part of a special 20th anniversary show.
The one-night only performance will bring a new and exclusive set with acoustic and norteño music segments, including the band’s greatest hits such as “Me Vas a Extrañar” and “El color de tus ojos” possibly in the setlist.
There’s a special presale from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at Ticketmaster.com for guests using the code MS20. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2.
The announcement follows the band’s latest record, “Punto Y Aparte,” which was just released on Nov. 25, and a special collaboration track, “141,” which was used as part of the soundtrack for the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Spotify also recognized Banda MS in 2020 as the most listened to Mexican artist, with more than 872 million streams. As of now, the group still maintains an average of 11 million monthly streams, not to mention garnering two Latin Billboard Music Awards for Top Latin Album of the year and Mexican Regional Artist of The Year.
