It seems like Yoplait Gushers Yogurt only hit store shelves what, like, five minutes ago? Still, General Mills is already on the cusp of launching another innovative treat. Even though this next release won't have “burstin’ beads" that simulate the explosion made by real Gushers, it will still thrill you thanks to an innovative, fizzy texture that simulates the taste of a real-life slushie.

The new Yoplait Go-Gurt Slushie low-fat yogurt-style snacks are being released in blue raspberry and cherry flavors and "feature the taste and fizzing texture of a slushie," according to Food Business News. Eight-count packs are set to go on sale this August, with a suggested retail price of $2.69.

The very same month, Yoplait will also drop a new dairy-free product line, with the first flavor being strawberry. The dairy-free snacks are made with a gluten-free, soy-free, and vegan coconut cream. They will reportedly sell for the slightly-higher retail price of $3.99.

To any '90s kid, the recently-launched Gushers-flavored yogurts will taste like one thing: nostalgia. (But really, the three flavors they come in are Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, and Tropical Punch.) The six-ounce cups were spotted by @foodiewiththebeasts at Food Lion for the low price of $0.74 a piece.

These succeed Yoplait's Starburst Yogurt line, which launched at the end of last year. Here's hoping that Pop Rocks are the next iconic candy turned into a bursting yogurt treat.
