Kontroll book design, by Snask
Snask has created the design for Swedish artist and researcher Erik Modig’s new book.
Within “Control”, or “Kontroll”, Modig – who is a researcher in branding and advertising at Stockholm School of Economics – analyses communication over the last 3000 years.
He looks at notions such as rhetorics, propaganda, PR and advertisement, and offers a meta-model explaining disciplines within the field.
“In his design brief to us, Modig asked us to make an ‘immortal, timeless and modern classic’ – which would also make him look cool,” says Fredrik Ost, creative director at Snask.
