Beloved noughties romcom 13 Going on 30 turned 16 this week, old enough to have sex, a year away from drinking and two away from driving (in the UK, at least).

We know, we know. We feel really old now too.

Mark Ruffalo, who appeared in the movie before his career took off with The Kids Are Alright and then really took off with Marvel's The Avengers, took to his Instagram to celebrate the milestone anniversary.

Referring to the movie's famous brand of candy, Ruffalo wrote: "Happy Anniversary to 13 Going on 30 today! Remember what the world was like when Razzles were all the rage? Missing that time."

Sadly, Jennifer Garner hasn't posted about the film's super sweet 16. Last year, she was asked about a possible sequel and pretty much poured cold water over that possibility: "What, like 15 going on 50? Let's simmer down and then let's leave well enough alone."

Of course, the studio could easily do a reboot or a brand new version of the movie without her involvement.

Also last year, while Mark Ruffalo was on the promotional campaign for Avengers: Endgame where he was asked what it was like reuniting with Brie Larson, who was also in 13 Going on 30 (as one of the Six Chicks).

In typical Mark Ruffalo fashion, he didn't even realise the Captain Marvel actress was actually in the film at first.

What a goofball.

In his time he's covered a host of live events, interviewed celebrities big and small and crowbarred a countless amount of great/awful (delete as appropriate) puns into articles.
