Stephenson and Johnson's relationship has been kept out of the public space on the whole, but the CBBC presenter did deliver a cheeky nod to her after a particularly steamy Argentine Tango with Nancy Xu during his Strictly run.

Following their routine, co-presenter Claudia Winkleman asked: "What did your girlfriend Beth say when you told her you were doing the Argentine Tango?"

He came back with: "Beth said, 'If I'm not jealous, you're not doing it right!' So, Beth I hope you're both proud and jealous!"

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Tickets for Strictly's 2024 live arena tour are available now.
