Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar shares 10-year wedding anniversary

The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar has had a far more successful love life than his character Raj Koothrappali, as the actor recently celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary.

Kunal, who is set to star in upcoming movie The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, paid a sweet tribute to his wife Neha Kapur on Instagram to mark the occasion.

Alongside a clip of Neha dancing, Kunal reflected on the couple's "unconventional" relationship and looked ahead to their future together.

"We may be unconventional, but I remembered how we promised to not live our lives according to someone else's version of it," he wrote. "Cheers to you, champion, partner, best friend. Whatever is to come, I am lucky we have tomorrow. Happy 10th."

Neha shared her own photos on social media, writing: "Like rivers.. we chose our own paths and come back to merge as one."

Since The Big Bang Theory's end in 2019, Kunal's career has gone from strength to strength, with the fan favourite set to turn his talents to the big screen in The Storied Life of AJ Fikry.

The drama recently confirmed that Scream's David Arquette and Scandal actor Scott Foley had joined the cast, alongside Nayyar, Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale, and Mad Men's Christina Hendricks.

Based on the 2015 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, The Storied Life of AJ Fikry follows the title character as his life takes an unexpected trajectory.

Following the sad loss of his wife, Fikry finds himself struggling with the worst sales in his bookstore's history – and the situation quickly goes from bad to worse when his most prized possession, a rare edition of a book of Edgar Allan Poe poems, is stolen.
