The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar has teased the possibility of a cast reunion in the future… though we may be waiting a while yet.
The hit comedy came to an end back in 2019, with many of the cast members going on to subsequent success – including Nayyar, who has starred in the likes of Netflix's Criminal: UK and is now appearing in Apple TV+ show Suspicion.
However, when asked whether he could reunite with his Big Bang cast mates, the actor joked to ComicBook.com: "So, when I'm 60 years old, if television still exists.

"To be honest, that was a really wonderful time of my life and now I'm enjoying other endeavours as well," he added. "And if that were to happen, then it's in the universe's hands but currently, I'm just enjoying spending time with them."
We're sure a Friends-style reunion down the line could be a possibility – and that's something Nayyar's co-star Kaley Cuoco has endorsed.
"When I watched, I definitely thought, I would love to do that one day," she told Variety last year. "I would love to do that with our show."
Meanwhile, Nayyar recently spoke to Digital Spy about the different roles he has chosen since finishing The Big Bang Theory.
"I feel like I'm in a very fortunate position that I actually get to choose some of the work that I want to do, which is very rare, and I'm very humbled that I'm in this position," he told us.
"I like to at least go, at least now, I tend to gravitate towards characters that have a big obstacle in front of them and who have some kind of transformation. Whether that's redemptive, whether that's love, whether that's pain, whatever it is, I really like to chase characters that have a big sort of emotional arc. That's sort of where I'm heading.
"Then of course, some of the time, it's not even about characters. It's the people that are in the movie, or the director or some of the other actors that I want to work with. So it's not just one dimensional. But if there are characters, I tend to go for the ones that are pretty messed up!"
