Talk about a Noughties nostalgia rush - Rick Yune has signed on for the upcoming Prison Break revival.

Yune is perhaps best known for playing villain Johnny Tran in the original Fast and the Furious (2001) and henchman Zao in James Bond movie Die Another Day (2002).

He'll play a character named Ja in Fox's revival of Prison Break - which originally aired on the US network from 2005 to 2009.

Ja is a Korean identity thief whose unkempt appearance belies his true genius, according to TVLine.

English actor Augustus Prew - who's appeared in everything from Kick-Ass 2 to BBC One's grim period drama The Village - will also appear in the new Prison Break.

Prew will play Whip - and though details on the characters are scarce, he's described as "funny, crazy and pretty damn sharp".

Of the classic Prison Break crew, only Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) and Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) are so far confirmed for the event series.

Sarah Wayne Callies - who played Sara Tancredi - is still in talks, with her commitment to USA's Colony posing a potential scheduling conflict.

It's a pretty sure bet that Sara will be back though, since Royal Pains actor Mark Feuerstein has already been cast as her new husband Scott Ness.
